Taking A Break
And now for a breather.
Enough of dreams and drama and wordy introspection.
Here are a few pretty images, simple as that.
First, an extravagant sunset at little Drake's.
A few mauve moments earlier, before pastel colors exploded into flame, clouds floated in a pool along the shore.
Meanwhile, the rusted steel railing laid long ago for the trains continues to acquire beautiful colors and contortions wrought by weather, sea, and time.
Then, there’s Monte when he's happy:
And an admittedly pale rainbow, but not too shabby considering that I was watching it from my bedroom window.
Finally, a moment in time registered on the little calendar, clock, weather device above Monte's desk. Maybe there were less mundane ways of recording the brief line-up of elevens, but sometimes being boringly home is all one really wants.
